The contribution of behavioural science to global citizenship education and for a sustainable future
In a context of social and environmental upheaval, understanding how we think, make decisions, and take action has become essential. With this in mind, the 2025 edition of our BeGlobal magazine explores the contributions of neuroscience and behavioural sciences to Global Citizenship Education.
Beyond trends and buzzwords, what can these disciplines truly teach us about transforming attitudes and behaviours in meaningful ways? What are the levers—and the limitations—of such an approach?
📘 This annual publication aims to make academic debates and breakthroughs more accessible, in order to enrich educational practices. By giving a voice to committed researchers, we seek to build bridges between research, pedagogy, and civic engagement.
A heartfelt thank you to Nicolas Spatola, neuroscience researcher, for his valuable contribution: a series of four articles shedding light on the links between human behaviour, civic engagement, and social transformation.
