Global Citizenship Education and the Sustainable Development Goals

Global Citizenship Education was given a key position in the 2030 Agenda. Development Goal 4.7 aims to ensure that all pupils acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including through Global Citizenship Education.

BeGlobal is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. These 17 goals aim to end poverty, inequality and hunger worldwide by 2030 and to enable a sustainable and peaceful society on earth.

Global Citizenship Education contributes to achieving all the SDGs. Therefore, committing to Global Citizenship Education is not just a stand-alone goal, but an essential prerequisite for achieving the 2030 Agenda.
